Babar Azam became the fastest batsman to complete 15 ODI centuries in 83 innings. Surpassing former South African batsman Hashim Amla.

Babar Azam is also the second fastest batsman to complete 4000 ODI runs. His feat in 82 innings is one behind Amla, who played 81 innings to achieve the same score.

After scoring his 17th ODI century against the West Indies in June 2022. He became the first ODI batsman to score three consecutive centuries on two different occasions.
